Another year has passed us by and a new one has started. For some reason, it doesn’t feel as “weird” with this new year as new years tend to be. Where you still think it’s the last year for months into the new one. Not with this one for me. Don’t really know why. Jocke and I went to Gävle to celebrate the new year with my family. I kinda felt bad because I haven’t been there with them for a few holidays since I moved so I decided that we’d take the opportunity to spend this one with my family. It was alright. Got to see a lot of fireworks and Jocke ate some great food. I didn’t eat. I just didn’t feel hungry at all.
I bought a pinata for Linnea and she refused to hit it to get the candy. She said that it was too pretty. I knew I shouldn’t have picked the pink shiny unicorn as a pinata! Still. Funny that she refused to hit it.
So. What to do for the start of the new year? I do have some plans for this year. I’m hoping to be able to attend at least two conventions this year. I’m also planning to actually finish and publish my book in both Swedish and English. Hopefully, I get to start as an apprentice at the tattoo place, we’ll just have to see about that one.
I’m going to continue studying and see what happens during that time. If nothing else happens I at least have a steady career that I can work with to actually get an economy since 2014. Also, hopefully not feeling like my soul is wasting away doing it. That’s always a plus! I think it helps a lot that Jocke isn’t making such a big deal about me finishing school. If I do, I do. If I don’t, I don’t. It’s easier not to get so stressed then.
