We’re finally in our new apartment. Well, we were on Friday last week but we now have it pretty much set up as much as we can so far. I was really surprised at how fast everything went, but it really shouldn’t be a surprise. Every time we’ve moved, we have thrown away a lot of stuff. Even this time a lot of things are going to be thrown away. I’m saying going to be since we still haven’t thrown it away. Living in a small town or village doesn’t really help with places closing early, so we didn’t get to the recycling place closed 4 on Friday and we were still not done by then. So we pretty much decided to do it some other time. The only issue with this is that we still have some stuff in the basement of our old apartment and we can’t move all those stuff until we throw away the things that we already have with us. It’s a hassle, really. We would’ve moved everything on Friday but the lady that lived in this apartment before us didn’t empty the storage space so we didn’t have any place to store all the things we had in the basement. It’s not a lot of stuff but it’s still enough that I don’t want it the apartment. Anyway, we need to get it fixed before the end of the month since our contract with the old place expires by then.

One thing I’ve noticed in our new apartment that I’m a bit sad over is that almost every wall is concrete. Which means we need a special kind of drill to put up anything on the walls. So our walls look a bit sad at the moment. Then again. The company that we are renting this apartment from having told us that they are planning to paint and fix some of the walls in our apartment, they just couldn’t do it before we moved in since they didn’t have the time. I’m pretty sure which rooms are getting a touch-up since only two rooms have a lot of holes in the walls. So technically it doesn’t really matter if I can get things up on the walls or not since we’re going to have to take them all down and re-do the holes after they fix the walls.
School is going alright. Not the best but not the worse. It’s just a lot of information to take in during a week. I think we have about 13 assignments and one test to do before the end of this term and I’m a bit overwhelmed. If I could’ve moved the school week forward or our move earlier, it would have been great, but you do what you can with what you have I guess. I’m just pretty stressed out to be honest with everything so I’m having some issues with my school assignments. I still get them in but they’re not as good as I know I can make them, and they take way more out of me than usual.
I’m just going to rest for a bit.
